With more than 93% of its adult population fully vaccinated, Fiji is saying ‘Bula!’ to New Zealanders and looking forward to welcoming you back to their shores! From 13 April it’s even easier to travel to Fiji with non-stop flights from Wellington to Nadi on Fiji Airways.

Along with holiday essentials like swimsuits and sunnies, you’ll need to tick off the following before you travel to Fiji. Official documentation relating to your vaccine status, and travel insurance will be checked at the airport by Fiji Airways before you fly.

Travel to Fiji

From 1 May, travelling to Fiji will be as easy as showing proof of vaccination for those 16 years old and above, travel insurance, and confirmation of a pre-paid RAT test booking from entrytestfiji.com taken within 72 hours of arrival into Fiji. Read more

Returning to New Zealand

On returning home to New Zealand, fully vaccinated travellers will not need to isolate. You’ll be given a welcome pack for self-administered rapid antigen testing on days 0/1 and 5/6.
