Gate changes at the airport

4 Feb 2021

If you’re a regular traveller, you will have noticed we made some gate changes at the airport last year in response to Covid-19. We made these changes to maximise resources and facilitate travel while passenger numbers were lower than usual.

Now domestic travel is picking up again, from 4 February you’ll notice things are starting to get back to normal in the terminal and most domestic flights will arrive and depart from the gates you were used to. Air New Zealand’s regional lounge will reopen on weekdays from one hour before the first flight until the last departure, and Percival will also reopen every day from 6am-6pm.

If you need help finding your gates next time you visit, please visit an information desk to speak to one of our friendly Airport Ambassadors. You can also see gate information on the arrival and departure screens throughout the terminal.
