A colourful free giant public art trail, buzzing with creativity and community is coming to Wellington from 14 September to 8 November. Mills Albert Bee in the City will transform Wellington into a vibrant outdoor art gallery featuring giant bee sculptures brought to life by kiwi artists, schools, and local groups.

At the end of the trail each giant sculpture will be auctioned to raise vital funds for Life Flight Trust – the charity that operates Wellington’s Westpac Chopper and Air Ambulance planes, providing time-critical care to more than 1,700 New Zealanders every year.

How to Enter

The Promotion Period relates to the duration of the official Mills Albert Bee in the City public art trail.

During the Promotional Period, unlocking the Aviator Bee through the official Bee in the City Map App gives you the chance to enter the draw. Once unlocked, complete the entry form via the link in the Bee in the City Map App to register your entry.

The Aviator Bee will be located in the Main Terminal (Level 1) at Wellington Airport throughout the Promotional Period.

Prize

The prize for this competition is a return trip for two to Fiji with Fiji Airways, and includes:

• Return Fiji Airways flights for two, from Wellington to Nadi
• 5 nights’ accommodation at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa including breakfast
• FJD$500 spending money from Prosegur Change
• $200 to spend at Duty Free @WLG
• Wellington Airport Valet parking for the duration of the trip.

Redemption/booking of all aspects of the prize must occur prior to 28 February 2027. Travel to be completed by 30 November 2027.

Flights and accommodation are subject to availability, and blackout dates apply. In the event the prize winner’s first choice of dates is not available, they will be required to provide alternative date options.

There can be no changes once flights and accommodation are booked. Any changes required to travel bookings, after these have been agreed upon, will be at the expense of the prize winner.

The prize includes flight taxes but does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, or any other costs of a personal nature. Any additional expenses incurred will be at the expense of the prize winner.

This prize is not transferable, exchangeable or negotiable and is not redeemable for cash.

Additional terms and conditions for flights: To be redeemed on Fiji Airways operated flights only. Valid for two economy class return tickets on the direct Wellington-Nadi service (Value category fares). Additional or connecting flights are not included. The prize must be used in one transaction, and travel must be on the same booking. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize winner. Travel is subject to Fiji Airways General Conditions of Carriage.

Additional terms and conditions for accommodation: Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa is located on Denarau Island. The prize winner can choose from a king or twin room configuration. Exact room category is subject to availability and will be allocated at the time of booking. Accommodation will include breakfast. Additional room nights are not included. Transfers/transport are not included. The prize winner will be required to present a credit card on check in, for any incidentals or additional meals during their stay.

General Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18+.

One entry is counted per completed entry form, when the Aviator Bee is unlocked through the official Bee in the City Map App. Multiple entries are not permitted.

If the required contact information is not provided on the entry form, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.

The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date, unless otherwise stated.

The prize will be drawn and winner contacted by Monday 16 November 2026. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone.

The winner will have 48 hours to confirm acceptance of the prize. If not accepted within 48 hours or if the winner has provided incorrect contact details, the prize will be redrawn. In the event of a second prize draw, if the new winner drawn does not respond to their winner’s notification phone call and/or email within 48 hours, a third prize draw will be undertaken, and so on until the winner is finalised.

The prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

The prize cannot be converted into cash, but the prize may be transferable to another individual at the sole discretion of The Promotor.

The prize inclusions are strictly for two people only. Any arrangements and costs for additional guests on the trip will be the sole responsibility of the prize winner to organise.

The Promotor, nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.

By entering, the winner grants permission for their contact details to be provided to any third-party prize supplier solely for the purposes of prize fulfilment.

By entering, entrants agree that their contact details may be retained by The Promotor for the purposes of administering the competition.

Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for The Promotor or any other person or party associated with this promotion to use the winner’s details and any photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference if required.

The winner’s name will be published on Wellington Airport’s website.

All employees working at Wellington Airport and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
