About the role

You will be a part of a small yet high performing team of three that integrate at all levels of the business. We are looking for the right candidate for a 14-month fixed term maternity leave cover.

This role reports to and works closely with the GM of People and Culture and will have a key focus on administration, coordination and maintenance of all day-to-day HR functions as well as the provision of ‘front line’ HR business support. This is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to a range of employee related activities in a fast-paced and fun environment. 

You will be:

  • Providing HR administration and coordination support
  • Coordinating the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding process for new employees which may include conducting interviews with recruiting managers
  • Assisting in the preparation of employment related documentation including IEA's and variation letters
  • Coordinating the delivery of the remuneration review process and related data preparation
  • Assisting with employee engagement, wellbeing program and ad-hoc internal employee communication materials
  • Maintaining HR systems (ELMO) and files, and proactively looking for opportunities to add value to the team and wider business

About you

You have:

  • strong numerical and analytical skills
  • a passion for HR administration and coordination
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • a positive customer service work ethic
  • a mature, professional and confidential approach

You are:

  • proficient with technology (advanced/intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel skills, desirable)
  • able to effectively organise, prioritise and multi-task
  • proactive and positive and have a “can-do” and adaptable attitude

Ideally, you have

  • Knowledge of relevant employment legislation (ERA, HA, HASWA, etc.)
  • HRIS system experience (ELMO preferred)

As part of our standard pre-employment requirements, you must be able to obtain security clearance from Aviation Security Services, complete a Ministry of Justice background check and pass a drug/alcohol test.
