Designated smoking area

Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated smoking shelter located in the Level 1 Drop Off car park area, next to the covered car park payment area.

To access the shelter from the main terminal, exit between Doors B and C and cross the pedestrian crossing directly opposite the terminal.

Under New Zealand's Smokefree Environments and Regulated Products Act, smoking and vaping are not permitted inside airport terminals or other enclosed public areas. Smoking and vaping anywhere inside the terminal are strictly prohibited.

Please note there is no designated smoking or vaping area within International Departures. Passengers wishing to smoke or vape must use the designated outdoor smoking shelter before proceeding through security.
