General terms and conditions

• The competition is open to New Zealand residents aged 18+.
• Only one entry per person is permitted unless stated otherwise.
• The competition runs from Friday 27 March 2026 until entries close 9am Friday 10 April 2026.
• The prize draw is entered by completing the entry form on Wellington Airport’s website.
• If the required information is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion.
• Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date, unless otherwise stated.
• The prize will be drawn and winner contacted by Wednesday 15 April 2026. The winner will be notified by email and/or phone.
• The winner will have 48 hours to confirm acceptance of the prize. If not accepted within 48 hours or if the winner has provided incorrect contact details, the prize will be redrawn. In the event of a second prize draw, if the new winner drawn does not respond to their winner’s notification phone call and/or email within 48 hours, a third prize draw will be undertaken, and so on until the winner is finalised.
• The prize draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
• The prize cannot be converted into cash, but the prize may be transferable to another individual at the sole discretion of Wellington Airport.
• The winner is responsible for paying all additional costs associated with the prize that are not specifically included, including (where applicable) transport, additional flights, spending money, travel insurance, meals additional to the specified inclusions, and all other incidentals.
• Wellington Airport, Marlborough Boutique Hotel and Vineyard, Sounds Air and Explore Marlborough, nor any other person or party associated with this promotion shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with either participation in this promotion or with any prizes offered.
• By entering, winners grant permission for their contact details to be provided to any third-party prize supplier solely for the purposes of prize fulfilment.
• By entering, entrants agree that their contact details may be retained by Wellington Airport for the purposes of administering the competition and, if consent is given, receiving marketing communications. Personal information will be collected and held in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
• Acceptance of the prize is deemed consent for Wellington Airport or any other person or party associated with this promotion to use the winner’s details and any photographs for promotional and media purposes without any further reference if required.
• The winner’s name will be published on Wellington Airport’s website.
• All employees working at Wellington Airport, Marlborough Boutique Hotel and Vineyard, Sounds Air and Explore Marlborough, and their immediate family are not eligible to enter.
• By entering, entrants agree to these terms and conditions.

Sounds Air: additional terms and conditions 

• To be redeemed on direct Sounds Air operated flights only.
• The prize includes all flight costs but does not include travel insurance, or any other costs of a personal nature.
• The winners must travel together on the same booking.
• The prize must be used in one transaction.
• Travel is subject to Sounds Air’s ‘Sounds Good’ general conditions of carriage.
• Tickets are not transferrable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash or other goods or services.
• There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued.
• Black out dates apply.

Marlborough Boutique Hotel and Vineyard: additional terms and conditions

• Must be booked direct by contacting reservations@themarlborough.co.nz and is subject to availability at the time of booking. Room category will be advised at time of booking. Black out period of Easter 2026 and July 2026 applies. Valid for 6 months, from 1 April 2026. Based on two guests staying in a room. Credit card will be required on check in for any incidentals. All additional meals, beverages and incidentals must be paid for on checkout. Cancellations within 30 days from date of arrival will forfeit the package. Additional nights may be available on request at an additional cost. Prize is not transferable nor redeemable for cash. This voucher is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions. Exact dining inclusions to be confirmed during stay.

Explore Marlborough: additional terms and conditions 

• Participants must be aged 18 years or older to take part in wine tastings.
• Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by Explore Marlborough and sign a standard rider waiver prior to departure.
• The tour operates in most weather conditions. In the event of poor weather, Explore Marlborough may provide vehicle support so guests can still enjoy a Marlborough wine region experience.
• The prize is not transferable, refundable, or redeemable for cash and must be redeemed as part of the overall prize package.
