Helping imagination take flight

Beginning in Nelson in 1988, World of WearableArt (WOW) Show is now a global international design competition held annually in Wellington. Artists use the human body as a blank canvas to create wearable works of art to be paraded in the Awards Show in September where art, fashion and theatre come together in spectacular form. This uniquely Wellington event draws audiences of more than 55,000.

How we help

In partnering with WOW, we help attract artists from around the world to Wellington. The very concept of WOW perfectly embodies the dedication Wellington Airport has to make make the Wellington a colourful and exciting place.
