Marine Education Centre
The Island Bay Marine Education Centre is a not-for-profit, education facility operated by our Wellington Marine Conservation Trust.
Their main purpose is to inspire people, especially children, to learn about Wellington's and all New Zealand's marine environments.
For the past 18 years, they've been offering exciting, interesting, hands-on marine educational experiences for people of all ages, from pre-school children to grandparents, through their Marine Education, Open Sunday and Ocean Discovery Programmes.
How we help
Wellington Airport has been a long time supporter of the Marine Education Centre and The Wellington Marine Education Conservation Trust, and our support helps them provide programmes and activities throughout the year.
