Cystic Fibrosis Wellington celebrates 50 years with Christmas Tree Festival

3 Dec 2018

Cystic Fibrosis Wellington will mark 50 years as a foundation by spreading Christmas cheer for travellers heading through Wellington Airport.

The charity holds its major fundraising initiative, the Cystic Fibrosis Christmas Tree Festival at Wellington Airport from 1 December – 8 January. The funds raised from this year’s campaign will go towards supporting a field manager in Wellington.

Over 40 organisations such as New Zealand Rugby Union, Coca Cola and David Jones have come on board to sponsor and dress trees displayed at the airport. Wellington residents and travellers can also donate to the foundation directly through the collection points located at the airport during the festival or through the foundation’s website at any time by heading to www.cfnz.org.nz.
