Wild at Heart Public Internet Wireless Service

Wellington International Airport Ltd has implemented a wireless service for customers to email, surf the web and connect to their company's intranet. This service is being provided free of charge to customers as an introductory offering.

Connecting to the Service
Most Laptops have an inbuilt wireless card for connecting to hotspots and wireless services. If your laptop does not have a wireless card this can be purchased from computer retail outlets. Enable your wireless card and connect to the "Wild at Heart" wireless network. Following this, open your web browser and follow the on screen instructions.

Locations
The service will be covering the food court area, Fuel Espresso and international Departure Lounges in level 1 of the main terminal building.

How to connect
  • Enable your wireless connection on your laptop.
  • Select "Wild at Heart" and connect.
  • Open the web browser and enter your email address on the displayed web page.
  • Follow the instructions from the displayed page.

 

Frequently Asked Questions

My laptop cannot see "Wild at Heart"

  • If you do not have a in-built card check to make sure your wireless card is inserted correctly
  • Check your wireless card is enabled in your network connections folder or with your wireless icon in your system tray
  • Ensure you are located in the food court area in level 1 of the main terminal building
  • Restart your computer.

I can see "Wild at Heart" but cannot connect to "Wild at Heart"

  • Check your wireless network connections settings and make sure DHCP is enabled.

I can connect to "Wild at Heart" and have opened a browser but do not get a response

  • Check your internet options and ensure a proxy server is not being used.
