Free Wi-Fi
A free wireless internet connection is available for all travellers courtesy of Wellington Airport.
- Enable your wireless connection on your laptop.
- Select "Wild at Heart" and connect. No password is required.
- Follow the instructions from the displayed page.
Wi-Fi Troubleshooting
My laptop cannot see "Wild at Heart":
- If you do not have a in-built card check to make sure your wireless card is inserted correctly
- Check your wireless card is enabled in your network connections folder or with your wireless icon in your system tray
- Ensure you are located in the food court area in level 1 of the main terminal building
- Restart your computer.
I can see "Wild at Heart" but cannot connect
- Check your wireless network connections settings and make sure DHCP is enabled.
I can connect to "Wild at Heart" and have opened a browser but do not get a response
Check your internet options and ensure a proxy server is not being used.

On your phone go to Applications and search for Wellington Airport. Download and install the free app. Easy!
