What are the Airports opening hours?

Wellington Airport is open from 4.00am through to 1.30am daily. The terminal is closes between 1.30am and 4.00am.
Where do I check in for my flight?

Do you have photocopying/fax facilities?

Photocopying and faxing services are available at the Wellington Airport Conference Centre on Level 2 of the Main Terminal Building.
Do you have a courier service in the terminal?

A courier service is provided by NZ Post, opposite International Departures on level 1.
Can I hire a roaming phone at the Airport?

No, you will need to make arrangements for a roaming phone prior to arrival at the Airport.
Where can I claim back GST?

You cannot claim back GST in New Zealand. For customs assistance please call (04) 901 4805.
Can I stay overnight at the Airport?

No. Wellington Airport does not operate 24hrs. The terminal building is closed for two and a half hours each night between 1.30am - 4am.
How do I transport my pet?

Is there a florist at the airport?

You can purchase flowers from the Relay store on Level 1, Main Terminal.
How do I send items by air freight or cargo?

Who do I contact for Customs Information?

For customs information please call New Zealand Customs Service on (04) 901 4805.
Who do I contact for immigration information?

Where do I post mail?

Stamps and packaging can be purchased from NZ Post or Relay, both on level 1. A mail box is located on level 1 of the main terminal building at the top of the escalator near the front doors in the check-in area.
Where are the lifts at the Airport?

There are lifts between all floors. Please follow the signs once inside the terminal.
Are there wheelchairs available?

Wheelchairs are available from your airline on request.
Where is the International Terminal?

At Wellington Airport all international and domestic flights arrive/depart from the same terminal.
How do I pay for parking?

Pre-Booked Online Car Parking
If you have pre-booked your car park online, then the credit card that you used on the internet will have already been debited the car park fee. To enter and exit your car park of choice, you will simply need to insert this credit card at the entry and exit barriers.

Drive-Up Car Parking
Before you exit the short term (Premium, Terminal, Heart) or long term car parks you can pay at any of the Auto Pay Stations located throughout the car parks, or alternatively, at either of the staffed Parking Service Kiosks. You can pay by EFTPOS at the Parking Service Kiosks (located in the short term or long term car parks) or selected Auto Pay Stations.
Where are the taxis and shuttles?

Taxis and shuttles operate from Level 0 outside the Main Terminal Building.
Is there a bus from the Airport into the city?

The Airport Flyer bus departs from the southern end of the terminal on level 0 (exit from baggage claim doors on level 0 and turn right). Monday to Friday it departs every 15 minutes between 6.30am and 9.30pm. It operates on a reduced timetable on weekends and public holidays.

Is there a motorcycle parking area?

The motorcycle parking area is located within the Terminal car park. Enter the Terminal car park, go straight ahead and the motorcycle parking area is just past the ramp to level 1 on your right.
Is there a bike rack?

The bike rack is located outside the level 0 Terminal entrance, on the island between the taxi and taxi pick up lane.
What do I do if I have a lost property enquiry?

Are there cash machines at the Airport?

ANZ ATM machines are located in the area between check in and the foodhall, and near Fuel in the South West Pier, Kiwi Bank ATM machines are located opposite International Departures on Level 1 and on level 0 and a Westpac ATM machine is located in South West Pier - Gate 10.
Where do I exchange cash?

Travelex Money Exchange is located on level 1 of the Main Terminal Building. Over 40 currencies are available, from the most popular currencies to the more exotic.
Can I store my bags at the Wellington Airport?

Baggage storage is located by the baggage claim area on level 0.

A parents room located on level 1 next to the Silvermoon retail store. The international departure lounge, The Rock, also has a children's play area.
